New Purpose for My Blog

Things have been busy this year but I want to start posting more than I have been. I want to start using this tool to communicate at home with everyone about the reading we are doing in class. I am going to post questions that I want everyone to respond to based on their reading from the night before. More to come on this.....

It's an Easter Baby!!

Surprise!!! The baby is here. On Friday night my family and I welcomed our new son, Colin George Lucas into the world. He was a big baby, weighing 9 pounds 15 ounces and 21 inches long. We just got home from the hospital today, Easter Sunday. So enjoy your holiday and we will be in to visit when we are feeling up to it.

I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful baby shower on Friday afternoon. I was totally surprised and overwhelemed by your kindness. I can't wait to dress up the baby in all the cute clothes.
